Case XIII

When I was asked to make a commissioned artwork for the Faculty of Law of the Louvain University I designed a six piece polyptych consisting of observations I made at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In that piece I related two different/ not-so different western classical educational systems: law education and art education. It was a challenge to link an anonymous and ‘imagepoor’ law education to an art education with an imagery that has been existing and delivering images and feeding our imagination for centuries.

Unfortunately, the work was not retained.
